Miles are much higher than your request, but a great color...no affiliation

Thanks for the link.
Spoke to Dick about it. Good car, good color combo & service history.
The mileage is too high for me though.
I'm Looking for the long haul car & need low mileage.
Still searching for my perfect Tip....

I'm not a mechanic, but a 964 that old, I think I'd rather have a decent amount of miles on it. These things are known to leak- and sitting around doesn't help matters. Low miles does not equal low problems, sometimes the opposite is in fact true. Maybe somebody with more technical knowledge can comment- but that's what I've learned from browsing around here. GL!

Your opinion is valid and I agree.
A low mileage car does not always equate to a better car than a higher mileage driver thats been kept & serviced the right way.
Leaks are inevitable, along with other issues for a car that is 25 years old, no matter what the mileage reflects.
I just like to buy these types of cars. Im sure I'm not the only one who really wants a mint lower mileage 964 for many reasons not listed.
Thx

I've looked at that car. Great Color. But It had more negatives than positives.
Too many miles also. Looking for something below 30K mileage.
Thx for the post. Much appreciated!!

I think you are underestimating the tip tronic market and in saying they aren't wanted or appreciated you do the tip a disservice....

Yes, they do sell at a discount to manuals... They are not the same on the track... But for the typical recreational, personal enjoyment and show use most of these cars see now and the traffic in so many areas when you come back from a nice Sunday brunch they are great!

A couple other points... In the last edition of the Hagerty Value Guide they removed the published deduction % for tips... And ... many of the buyers coming into the hobby have no idea how to operate a standard transmission yet many of them have the wherewithal early in the lives to get a collector car. I have had a 964 tip that was sold many years ago as well as 993 tip... They run great!

I am only going by what the MAJORITY thinks about Tips. I called many dealers who scoffed at me asking for a Tiptronic car. Almost all of them said, they would not touch them or they aren't interested in procuring any Tips.
When you search this forum about them, its usually...Wow great car, too bad it's a Tippy.
I don't agree with the majority & I agree they run great. Supposedly the Tip tranny is pretty bulletproof.
Hence Im still looking for an amazing example!!

thx for the feedback
