Question, are the calipers factory red or did you have them done?

Hi, I had them done by the local Porsche dealership - it’s listed above under “cosmetic upgrades”. The originals were the original black “aluminum/annodized” finish that fades quickly. I have more thorough pics and explanations of the fading (by people smarter than I) here: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-cayman-and-cayman-s-all-generations/1076381-brake-calipers-fading.html#post15106496

Let me know if you have any other questions.

All PMs replied to, thank you! -Dom

Nice looking car. You have updated it to pretty close to GTS specs, except for the engine of course. Should be a great buy for someone. Question: how did you get Car Play/Android Auto to work on the factory system? I would think that everyone with 981’s would want to do this.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback! I went with a company that had a solution specific to the CDR3.1. These are the two links I was reviewing from their web site. I ordered by corresponding with them so that is likely your best bet as the web site can be confusing as to what you are getting. There is another gentlemen in the UK that I believe is only about a week or so from offering a more "turn-key" solution (I know because I was trying to help him get it ready). Here are the web sites:

Alternatively you can email nick.marquis@nmautomotive.co.uk (the fellow in the UK that is putting together a "kit")

Best of luck! -Dom
