I have a Durametric OBD1 cable for the Durametric Scan tool. I no longer own a 993 so I don't need it. I use the rest of the system on my 997. I'm asking $100, but make me an offer if that's too much.

This is just the OBD1 cable (round end) which connects to the OBD2 (square end). I owned a 1995 993 with OBD1 diagnostics vs. the OBD2 Porsche switched to in 1996. If you have a OBD2 system and want to add OBD1 capabilities this is a very good opportunity.

Ahh, gotcha. Unfortunately I have OBII in my 96. I assume no way to transform it...?

Will this just hook to a laptop and work? or is there something extra missing, like a software license?
