These are amazing cars. I drove one briefly a decade ago and it was incredible--a world apart from the truck-like, low revving Spec Racer Ford I used to race.

SCCA P2, and Radical has a series running in both USA and Canada

These cars really do make sense. $46K is less than it costs just to modify for example a Cayman for real track use. Then you have wrecked your street car. The cost of consumables for the Radical is far less than for the heavier car.

I believe in this concept enough that even though all I do is autocross these days, I built an 818 kit for that, and I keep my nice cars off the track.

I agree with what Sean said. The Radical cub guys are a really friendly group, both the Drivers and organizers and they welcome people of all abilities.
