Excellent factory stock rear muffler from my 1988 Porsche 928 S4. This was exchanged for a muffler bypass around 10 years ago and stored inside (with the inlets and outlets sealed up) since then. The factory mounting flanges are perfect. Apparently these are becoming quite rare because everyone switches to the bypass system. This is a typical Porsche quality part, built like a tank, weighing 25 pounds (!). The factory stamped part number is still legible on the casing; 928 111.097. If you want the factory correct, Porsche-engineered part, you can pay $1851.50 (Check pelicanparts.com) or buy mine for $200 (plus shipping). If 928's ever become (more) collectible, these will be tough to find. Be wise and buy this one to store it away.
