Overview:

We purchased the car on July 13 2016, from a 57 year old Porsche fanatic in Texas. He bought the car on Feb 8 2011 from Porsche North Houston with 1,927 miles on the clock. At that time, he added a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty along with a clear brand and paint shield on the front 1/3 of the car. He’s since changed the oil on the car every 10k miles. The last major service (40k) was done by Porsche North Houston, including spark plugs, oil change, brake flush and new pollen and air filters in late 2015. The rear tires were replaced around the same time. I spoke with the head service tech at the dealership before purchase and he couldn’t speak highly enough of the vehicle or the owner and the amount of care he took with it.

I’m based in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA and am a total and utter car obsessive, having owned a number of Porsche’s over the last few years. I’m absolutely fastidious about taking care of our vehicles, performing any/all maintenance ahead of schedule to ensure no issues arise, as well as hand washing on a weekly basis. I bought the Boxster on June 24 2016 for my 62 year old parents who migrated to the US in May last year, with 44k on the clock. They haven’t had the car over 60 mph since then and only use it to run around our local town. They’ve put around 4k miles on it since the date of purchase. They’ve hand washed it weekly and we’ve taken care of a number of common maintenance items to ensure trouble free driving for the foreseeable future.

Reason for sale is to move them into something with 4 wheel drive and more space, they’re soon to be joining one of my businesses and need something with room for much more cargo. They’ll certainly be sad to see it go! Below is a summary of the vehicle along with a list of options and a run down of the maintenance items we’ve completed (totaling just under $8k). The car is absolutely good to go, especially after recently replacing the front tires, front brakes (including rotors) and rear main seal (which is common on Boxster and very expensive!). The clear bra, which was past it's expected life, was removed yesterday, the paint work beneath it is in spectacular condition!
