Default 997 GT3 Alcantara Heated Sport Seats - SOLD!

Category: Accessories
Price (no $ sign please): $2800
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 911, 987, 997, Cayman
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

For sale are my 997 GT3 Alcantara Heated Sport Seats - Black. They came from a 2008 GT3. I've had them in my 2009 C4 for the past three years. I just sold the C4 and bought a 981 Boxster S, and they won't fit the Boxster. They are in very good condition, with some minor wear on the driver's bolsters and a few nicks on the hard backs. I'm listing them for $2,800/bo with local pickup in the Boston area. Frankly, I'm not sure how to ship them. However, if you are out of the area, we could discuss that at your expense. Sorry for the sideways photos. On the driver's seat, the photo looks like there may be some discoloration up near the top. There is not. It's just the light catching the mat of the alcantara.

These are great seats. I've really enjoyed them and was hoping they would fit the Boxster. If they had, I'd be keeping them!

I have a pair of these in my closet and never knew that they were heated. Where is the button, on the car, that one would press to turn the heat on?

These come in heated and non-heated. If the car has seat heaters, the buttons will be on the dash below the PCM screen.

Ahh, I should check my dash even though the seats aren't in the car any longer.

Thought I had these sold locally, but deal fell through. So still available. I am willing to work with a buyer to figure out how to ship at buyer's expense.

I just shipped the exact same set from TX to SoCal. Not hard to do and shipped via UPS. Please PM me if you want details on how to ship. I will caution you that the forward/aft adjustment handle needs to be removed before shipping - it will break and cannot easily be replaced.

Good luck with the sale. They are fantastic seats.

997turbocarrera, apparently I cannot sent you a PM. Maybe because you are new? You can email me at wlm.putnam@gmail.com.

Texas993, thanks for the offer to explain the shipping process. I've sent you a PM.

Why wouldn't these fit the Boxster? I got a set of these from a 2007 GT3 and it was plug and play with a 2012 Cayman R. Or is it something to do with the 981 connectors?

These are great seats BTW. GLWS.

The 981 has a different setup for seats from the 987. They would have fit just fine in my previous Cayman R or Cayman S.

They are, indeed great seats. I probably could get someone to figure out how to put them in my 981. But it would take a lot of work from what (little) I understand.
