Global MX-5 available with approximately 40 hours on chassis & engine. The car is complete, just show up at the track and have fun. Car comes with:

Chas, may I ask if these be registered for street use as well? I vaguely remember these being built from production street cars, so curious if it has a VIN.

Yes, it has a VIN. These are street cars converted for track use by Long Road Racing.

They keep "upgrading" the car each season to ensure LRR keeps earning lol

Great and solid cars and a ton of fun to track and race.

Of course, the schedule is essentially the same as last season with the exception of the MMC year ending weekend, that is moving to Laguna I believe.

Geez, there are plenty of shops, i used Flat-Out Motorsports, but also:

McCumbee McAleer
Atlanta Speedwerks-Todd Lamb, one of our own.
Copeland
Sick Sideways
Slipstream Performance

Just to name a few.

To clarify this isn't a 2019 updated car though right? So last gen engine etc

Correct, the series will be running this car as well, in a separate class. Owners of these cars will have the option to upgrade the engine, transmission and ECU. Not sure the price has been released but we were led to believe the cost will be in the 15k-17.5k range.

FWIW, I raced on the McCumbee McAleer team in MXcup and they are stellar...if you have a car you want updated there is no better!

They would literally practice swapping motors and time themselves, etc. They know their stuff.

McAleer team is top notch and Stevan is an awesome coach. Hoping to do something with him in the near future.
