I don't mind at all. I want a tip because its going to be my city cruiser when I stay at my place in NYC. Which I have been doing more often than not.
A tip Is what I need for convenience when Im in traffic all day long.... but still be in a great car.

This one is blue/tan but maybe over your mileage cap, I think that people ordering Singer's have snatched up all the bargain 964's to re-build.

Just looked...WAY too many miles for me.
I'm looking for a pristine example with low miles. Singer may have snatched up many Tips, but there not paying premium prices for NICE examples. I think:]

i have owned a tip 964. Its actually a great car to own. They are very fast. If you are in second and gun it, it will shift down to 1 and shoot out like a rocket. They are extremely reliable transmissions and I agree it is nice to be able to drive without shifting if you have a commute, etc. I own a manual 964 now, but I do understand there place. Hope it helps.
