Karl - did you see them in Miles' GT3RS...or when they were at the dealer for a few weeks before I picked them up...or in my GTS?

If anyone wants to buy these buckets I will take your power heated adaptive sport seats (aka "sofas") off your hands from a 991 or 981 body
Gorgeous seats, GLWS OP!

Question asked: Will these seats work in a GT4?
Answer: Apparently not

It's not a "like for like" transfer but I was also told they could make if work for me if needed (but I was able to order LWB so I have no need).
Great seats. Great deal. GLWS.

MY 2008 911 turbo has the plush seats: full power, air bags, heat, etc (not sure what they are called) with 2 plugs on bottom. Do your seats use the exact same plugs such that side air bags are immediately responsive?
Do these seats actually recline, or just pivot forward for access to rear? Any idea what economical freight to 77546 would be?
Thanks,

These are absolutely a direct bolt in with any 987 or 997...with the rails bolting to the same four holes no matter what seats were originally in the car. (Of course, the GT2s have no heat, and only have manual fore/aft adjustment.) All reports say the airbags work on all 987s and 997s as well, but I only know from personal direct experience (my cars) that they swap seamlessly with no wiring harness or issues into a 997.2 and a 987.2. (I'm not saying there are issues...in fact I don't belive there are, but I don't know for certain from personal experience. Perhaps someone who has put the GT2 seats in a 997.1 or 987.1 can relate their first-hand experience.)
Because the seats are in Canada, shipping will cost more than in the States. The 3 or 4 cross-border freight forwarders I talked with are all goofs: I wouldn't trust them to deliver a box of air, much less a pair of GT2 seats. With customs added to the equation it's more complicated as well. The range of prices I've received from UPS is between $300 and $400 per seat, depending on ZIP. If there are cheaper, reliable cross-border shipping solutions from Canada to the U.S. that aren't two guys and a truck, I've been unable to find them from here. A better approach might be for a buyer to find a local shipper that picks up (or has a partner) that would pick up in Canada and work it backwards from there.
Frankly, the reason the seats haven't sold is becuase there is added shipping hassle and cost getting them from Canada to the U.S. I'm not prepared to reduce the price to account for those additional costs. The price of the seats is one discussion...shipping is another. If the seats don't sell...well, summer is coming and it takes 20 minutes to remove my winter heated Sport Seats and bolt the GT2s back in, and it's just as quick and easy a swap to put the Sport Seats back in for extended road trips.

FYI... I bought my GT2 seats from a gentleman in Toronto and it was a smooth transit, the seller shipped them FedEx and I used them as a customs broker. Overall it cost me $120 extra to get them from Canada vs the US, no duty due to trade agreement (Harmonized Code 9401.20.00). GLWS, great seats.
