I'm interested in the headers, but I'm a little apprehensive as some GT4 owners have mentioned that they occasionally get a CEL even with the catted version. Did you get a tune with this setup ?
Also, I believe that the owners that did get a CEL had been running these Fabspeeds for some time.

I have never gotten a CEL with either the headers alone or the headers in conjunction with the exhaust, even in absence of a tune. Other friends with both Cayman S or GT4's that have had it, have not gotten the CEL either.

I checked Fabspeed's site and saw they offer the GT4/Spyder Sport Headers and the 981 Boxster/Cayman Sport Headers separately (2 different SKU's). Are yours the GT4 Sport Headers or the 981 version? If the former, are you sure that they can be installed on an S with PSE without any problem?

Yes. Im certain that they work on both cars. I was told so by Fabspeed. I bought these for my Cayman S and had them on the car for about 1K miles when I got word of my GT4 allocation. Then had them on the GT for a short while as well. Worked great on both applications.

You do not have to worry about a CEL with sport headers with P420 or P430. Fabspeed proven no issue since 2000. HJS is the leading Catalytic convertor for exotic brands such as Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren and Porsche. Constructed from equal-length T304 stainless steel C.N.C. mandrel-bent tubing for improved torque and equalized engine pulsing.
