Purchased a couple months ago from the original owner He bought the car new during retirement in his mid-sixties and decided this past summer that he simply doesn't use enough anymore to justify keeping it. He has typically driven it 7 +/- months out of the year putting on average 4,000 - 5,000 miles a year on it. Serviced regularly at a Porsche dealer with all scheduled maintenance performed on time. I have a book of records to include with the car as well as original window sticker, manuals and all keys. Oil changed every 4,000 - 5,000 miles before winter hibernation with Mobil 1.

This was the nicest Cayman I could find when I started looking. It has been meticulously maintained and driven by a responsible owner, and the condition of the car is truly representative of that. The interior looks like a car with less than half as many miles, and the car runs and drives phenomenally. I had no intentions of selling, however my wife and I found a piece of real estate that we couldn't pass on, so I am selling some of my toys. I came to the Cayman from a 964 and I can say that the Cayman S really impressed me with the power and handling. Best bang for the buck in the Porsche world in my opinion.

I had a PPI done when I purchased the car and it passed with flying colors. Compression was high and very consistent across the board. Tires are recently new with seemingly full tread depth. I had new spark plugs and the latest improved design coils installed when they did the compression test. Old plugs and coils looked perfect, so I kept as spares. Clean title, but Carfax shows incident with an animal. Owner hit a deer a couple years ago. Repaired to a very high standard.

This is turnkey car ready to go with no needs. Unmodified, 100% stock and ready for next owner to add his/her own personal touches. Title in hand, asking SOLD. This is one of the nicest 987.1 on the market!
