This is exactly why I want to try this. When I trail brake HnT inevitably unless I concentrate really hard I end up modulating my braking slightly in the process as I start rolling onto the throttle and upset the car a little.

I have used one of these for over a year. Turn it off on the street, on for the track... It's brilliant. Glad to see it getting more attention in Porsche community.

I read in another forum that some people have had trouble with missed blips and/or inconsistent behavior.

I assume that that is most likely a result of poor installation with the brake/throttle/clutch wire connections?

Chris - have you had any issues like that? Could be scary having a missed blip downshifting at speed on track.

Cool product.. if reliability pans out I am also in for the group buy.

Hey Matty,

I have not had any issues once the settings were dialed in, and even then it wasn't not working, it was just blipping too early or too late. It took a couple trips braking on a freeway off ramp to get things dialed in.. Without knowing all the details of the scenarios you mention, I would say user and/or install error. Everything that is sent with the kit is very high quality.

Well, there was the time I forgot to turn it on, but that was on me You can set it up to come on with the car, but I have mine wired in so I have to manually activate it.

Looks like the product has been out for several years - surprised it hasn't appeared here before now.

If the clutch switch is looped or bypassed in the instance of a clutch stop or similar I assume this won't work?

True.. but there are many resellers of this product, and many ppl on this forum.

Considering the interest this thread has attracted in less than a week.. I still find it surprising that it is only now appearing here having been out for several years.

Is the install a pretty straight forward DIY?
