I do.
The boot is $65.00 + shipping and comes with it's own base plate and adhesive.

I have detailed pictures on my website.

Thanks

This is the same setup I had in Sharky....I bought the shifter and had Paul recover it for me to match the raised center console...VERY nice...that held up perfectly for the couple years I owned it!!

Paul,
Will this shifter work with the "Short Boot" instead of the "long"? Because I don't want to hide the shift letters and numbers. Also do you just put the short boot over the stock rubber organ thing? Thanks in advance.

Hey Joel,

it will work with the short boot and no, there is no need to use the original rubber with the short boot.

Thanks

I got really good at shifting the one I had. BTW, the photos of the black one with red stitching was my exact shifter and boot on the 85. If you were cruising and you needed third, you just pull it back. If you wanted second, you slapped it back and down at the same time from the top. Probably just different mechanics/personal preference. Plus it had red in it, so it was as fast as you could get!!!!

I would prefer the top-button or even the t-handle over this.

BTW, what is the appeal of this style? Is it 5-speed envy?
These are fine. You do get used to the shifter, enough so you don't miss a beat. I had no issues with mine. It worked well enough to make Justin squeal like a little girl when I took him for a few laps around MSR @ 3rd Coast a couple of years ago.

The guy in Australia, Rick Heaney, finally got the one I ordered to me, he's the one who was making these. It was very difficult getting in touch with him, he's going through some difficult times I understand, so better get these while available. It is a real nice product. They should have made something like this available from the factory. If you have the long boot on it, it looks for all the world like a manual. As long as you have the gear indicator in the dash working, there's no problem covering the center console letters.
