Not for me either. I saw an article recently that the 998 series will have a large (thiner) rear reflector that will look like the 993! They are starting to get it at Porsche IMHO!
anyhow I have replaced both rear tail lens due to the plastic failing...my center reflector is showing it's age. I nearly bought a new one...but I paused when I saw the blue RUF that was highlighted in Excellence recently. To each their own
I think it looks great on my Ruf Turbo R. Here is a link to a short video. Make sure you watch it in high quality. I don't know why the headlights look yellow in the beginning of the video. Diemetzger, your car looks amazing! The painted reflector works better in some colors than others or maybe it's the solid red turn signals that make a difference from the blue Ruf above.

There is a new thinner rear reflector on the 997.5 facelift but only on the Carrera 4 cars.
