Default 4th annual DCI / Rennlist Key Largo Run

Its that time of year again....

We have set up the 4th annual Key Largo Run to the Mariott on Florida Bay for
Saturday, December 8, 2007.

The Marriott will have a breakfast Buffet waiting for us. It is $13.95
per person.

This is a beautiful resort right on Florida Bay. Check it out at:

http://www.marriottkeylargo.com

There is plenty of parking by the waterfront for 30 to 50 cars.
If you have to many Pina Coladas after brunch, they have offered a special
room rate if anyone is interested, PM me.

All is confirmed except for:
1) How many Rennlisters are comming.
2) Best place to meet in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and/or Palm Beach.

So we need to know who will be joining us with a firm commitment.

Last year we had 2 meeting points. Laderdale and Miami. The plan is to leave Fort Lauderdale at 7:30am and meet the Miami crew 8am.

However we had about 30-35 P-cars and some came from Palm Beach.
So we may need to add a 3rd meeting point for the northern guys.

Please post your responses here in this thread and it will be updated regularly.

This sounds awesome!! Count me in!!

For the meeting points, I would suggest that all Palm Beach, Pompano, Boca etc. folks would meet up on the Pompano Beach service Plaza on turnpike.
It is very convenient to get to (not even that far from I-95).
If we need to be in Miami at 8am, we should meet up at the service plaza around 7:00am and start driving down 7:15am latest.

Fourth Annual!!! This is just awesome!! To think back at year one when it just 5-6 of us and look at us now!

Let's have the Broward group meet at Dunkin Donuts on University just south of 595 (we've met here before for the breakfast club), the time 7:30 AM and we'll leave 8:00 AM.

The Palm Beach guys can meet at the Pompano Beach service Plaza on turnpike, the time 7:00 AM and leave by 7:30 AM to meet up with the Broward brigade by 8:00 AM.

Miami squad can meet on the turnpike at service plaza just south of Kendall (120th Street?), the time 8:00 AM which will give the Broward brigade which at this point will be cruisin' down with the Palm Beach guys & gals about 1/2 hour to 45 min. in order to meet up with them and we'll all then leave by 8:30-8:45 AM for the Key Largo Marriott.

Rico
MJSpeed
Walter
Songhoh
CaptB412
Juha
porschedog
Rudy (NSX)
Derek (aka Cousin)
Chris (Orange Lotus Esprit)
Michael (White NSX)

The meeting places and times will be on the next update.

Please, if you are planning on coming, please post here or

What I would do to go..... Wonder if I could ask Jenn to meet me on my return trip from Haiti in Florida...??

Sorry - this isn't a confirmed reservation - just hoping Jenn will read this and say "yea, let's do it..."...

It would be wonderful....

MJ,
The picture you have posted shows a carrara white GT3 and looks to have a tan interior. I'm 3rd owner of carrara white /natural brown 05 that came from Orlando new . Second owner had car he bought from Braman and owned for two monthsbefore I boughtn last year serial number 5s692074. Just wondered if picture could have been from 05. Curious about first year ownership. Car is great. Had 2800 miles when I bought
