(Pics) German Autofest - Ventura 090907
Here are some shots of the nicer and more unusual rides on Sunday.
After I was relieved from traffic inforcement, I had a chance to walk around.
I wish I could have taken pictures of all the P-Cars, but there were just to many.

i had a good time in Ventura,
the only cars i saw that i knew were RL owned were "Rufus" shining on Main St, Scott's sweet silver over black TT in the car corral (wasn't there long, did you sell it?) and Yuji's (warpman?) Vesuvio C2S or is that Carrera S.................. sitting near my C4S in GA parking.
I even finally saw 2 SY yellow 993s that had something other than a black interior.
One tan, not to my taste

one Stone grey = SWEET!
there was also a spectacular black, turbocharged and otherwise significantly modded 356 on Main St. It was quite an amazing car.
Speaking of amazing, as we drove to the Getty on sunday we saw a large contingent of italian exotica in Calabasas.
turns out it was a 11-99 charity drive.
i counted 90+ Italian cars
5 Carrera GTs all silver save for one SY driven by an asian lady
7 SEVEN!!!!!!!!! Diablos. Lamborghini paint is SPECTACULAR!
1 Maserati MC12 Competition car
a Signal Green 997 RS
literally dozens of 360 . 430 variants
a "ford? GT40 with a Maserati engine
and on and on and on
oh yeah, there was a Veyron there too..........................
it was quite a symphony as they fired up for the drive and raced onto 101 W for the drive to Malibu.
The best part?
As we drove past the "gate guards" in our 993, we were invited to join the drive.
I saw more than a few Corvette, Subaru, Z car owners shuffled off to the bleacher seats.

My labeling of the picture may have been misleading. If I were picking the Best of Show, this would have been my choice. It's not my car. It's owned by one of the past presidents of PCA-Santa Barbara Region.
The color is "Santa Barbara Blue Azul" if I'm correct.

rumour has it that P would not supply the limited edition paint for RUF and Joe went to a HOME DEPOT color match type place.
might just be BS, but makes for a good story.
