Default Matrix headlight alignment for different sides of road

Hi everyone. I’m based in the UK and driving through Europe later in the year. I have the matrix headlights. Looking through the manual in the my Porsche app I can’t see anything about headlight settings for different countries.

does anyone have any experience with this and can let me know:

1) do I need to make any headlight adjustments for side of road or dipping

2) if if do, how/ where do I navigate to the correct section in the PCM? Mines a 21’ so PCM 5 (I think!)

thanks in advance

It would be interesting to know if the system adjusts automatically based on location as provided by the NAV system?

I remember watching a YouTube video in the past year that showed a UK physician changing the LED-matrix headlight beam pattern on his 911 from RHD to LHD when he got to Calais by changing a setting in the PCM. The video may have been deleted since it's not in my watch history. Maybe the UK spec Cayenne is similar. I thought a similar menu option might appear in the PCM of my US spec Cayenne after its headlights were re-coded for Germany last August but it didn't.

In Cayenne, the function of changing the headlights from RHD to LHD is automatic based on navigation data.

Vehicles delivered in countries that drive on the left side of the road should have a setting to invert the headlights. Selecting this will dip the right beam more than the left - just the opposite of how it works for driving on the right side of the road.

Check your PCM’s setting — “Inverted” should be checked.
Go to SET | Vehicle settings | Light and visibility | Exterior lights. Just uncheck it when you arrive on the Continent.
