No solution yet it seems like.
I have several small things i plan to go to the dealer for to exercise my 3rd party extended warranty, and im gonna see what they have too say about this.
Ive also noticed my clock being like 30 min or so off when i 1st start it afterv sitting at work all day, then it corrects itself by time i get out of The parking deck. Might be related or its loss of signal from the deck?
Nothing has worked so far to get The date back!

I wonder if the PCM has a standby battery on the inside that has gone flat. These are usually in the form of a small coin shaped lithium cell. The type of thing that allows the clock to keep time when powered off.

Burning Brakes
I have no idea why, but my 955 is back from being two days into the future for six months. The date's correct again. Frankly I don't look at it much for the time and don't know how long it's been OK. Maybe my tech did something two weeks ago when he changed the oil and brake fluid and probably checked for any codes. Or maybe it was the Solstice.

Thats great to hear, not sure how long mine has been out, maybe after some time ours will all right themselves,if we are as lucky as you.
If you don't mind, could you check with your dealer/indy to see what he might have done exactly in regards to updates/software, etc that might have fixed it, it can help save all of us from headache since it seemed to fix yours, and so far you are the only one that had been successful in getting the date restored.

PCM DATE
Hello,
I have the same reason. No date after replace battery.
So, i taken vehicle codes from PPN, and enter to PCM via PIWIS tester.
In genaral all the pcm codings must be check.
See code attached
Porsche technician have to check each code (as per your car specifications and country specifications),
(if you install any 3rd party fiber optical tap control units must be remove and car pcm system should be in original status)
In the tester we can see different sections
Pcm MMI
PCM GW
NAVIGATION
AMPLIFIER
CD CHANGER
TELPHONE
upon your car poition control units might be less.
So all codes confirm, reset pcm
You can see the date and time in your pcm.
You have go porsche center for this date matter.
Good luck
Cheers.

PCM DATE
Date issue can be fix with PIWIS tester,
Select PCM# SELECT ALL CODES#ENTER ALL THE CODES AS PER THE CAR SPECS AND COUNTRY SPECS,
then, select PCM MMI -
Coding and programing
Genaral codes
Date/time
Make sure time zone is correct. Otherwise time and date will run different with navigation.

So Randimal, you are saying, go to our Porsche dealer or indy that has a PIWIS and they can access this coding menu and simply enter the correct date values?
In this case that you show, since the date was not displayed, what was in the coding fields for the date, where they blank?

Hello, thank you Randimal for your contribution. Several months ago I went to the CP in Valencia (Spain) and they entered the date data but they appeared in gray and could not be changed, the year that appeared was 2065. Greetings and thanks
