Well, the auction ended. I didn't see any bids (I may have missed a last minute one, though).

And there's no penalty for backing out on an E-Bay sale.

Although, if someone paid $7k+ for this piece of automotive "art", maybe values are going up.

You know the value of our cars are going up, when a car like this sells for 7k!

Defroster vents? Nah, don't need those in Florida!

I disagree. Let them die with some dignity. It's like watching an elephant that's been forced to wear clown paint and a tutu performing in the circus, when you know it used to be free and roaming in it's natural habitat.

Nope...don't like the interior or any of the PepBoys type accessories or badges...but this could be worked into a tasteful custom car... and maybe done differently with a functional purpose. I mean a whale tail on a 911 isn't exactly a clean addition...

I assume Ferrari didn't do this just cuz it looked cool.

Have to admit that while messing with CIS, I wished for a simple 4 barrel carb...

I like the hood and mixed on the fenders. Not sure how one hood strut holds up the hood, plus another breather at rear p/s of engine. Engine needs air.
I expect Magness Walker to have some cool fenders on his 928 once completed.

Betcha the "fine, fine mechanic"* that did this used a hatch strut instead of a hood strut. One of those would hold the hood up. Of course, there will be a funny bulge on one side when the hood is closed.

*We really need a 'sarcasm' font.

Wow, I completely missed that duel rear spoiler. Hard to see it past that 928 bling on the back

In a wind tunnel it blows oval smoke rings out the back. By design.

No, a pair of Holley 4500's, now that would be impressive!

It's really difficult to believe that it actually sold for $7k...

But I guess that just shows there's other similar minded people who share that same taste.

I'd be willing to bet it has a custom horn that trumpets out "La Cucaracha"..!
