Default New to me 2011 CTT

We're having a second kid and I read somewhere that the perfect companion for your 911 was a Cayenne, so here I am. Just bought it last week.

Vitals: Car has 80k miles and only has a dealer service history which is more than complete, lots of preventative maintenance like transmission fluid changes and has never left the sunny state of CA. It's also on the list for the camshaft bolt recall, going to nudge the dealer to remind them that I want this done.

It's a fully equipped CTT with all the acronyms- PTV+, PDCC, PCCB, Adaptive Cruise, Burmester. It doesn't have the pano roof, but I never use sunroofs and I'm glad for the lower weight and rigidity. I feel like I stole it for $35k, but PO prioritized convenience over $, and I can appreciate that point of view. Some quality time with my PDR guy and getting the sportdesign wheels refinished in all black (machined lips were beat up and I didn't want them to get lathed). Right now it's getting the 6 year old clear bra replaced with XPEL.

Full build sheet here: http://admin.porschedealer.com/repor...ac2a29bla84889

Happy to be part of the group and hope to contribute more in the future.

Nice one! Where did you find it for sale at? I'm in CA also and looking for one similar to that build.

Craigslist. I have an automated search for 'Porsche "Adaptive Cruise"' and the quotes around "Adaptive Cruise" are important as that forces an exact phrase match. In my experience, adaptive cruise is the last option people spec so they tend to all be interesting builds.

It is, indeed, a good match. I like how the taillights match the 997.2.

FWIW - The Sport Design lip isn't turned - it's a painted stripe around the rim. Mine were mightily abused by the first owner - $150/wheel by the wheel guy the local P dealer used and they looked like brand new. These rims are a real curb magnet.. My right front has a few small scuffs on it a year after I had it redone. IMHO dumb design that the tire doesn't provide some small protection for the rims. But they do look awfully nice when they're perfect.

Even with 80K miles, that car has a private party market of $45k-ish

you literally stole that car

looks great.. enjoy!

I just bought a 2012 958 exquisitely optioned by the PO with over 130k. It's an S but with Pano, Burmi etc. Arrives on next Friday. Can't wait. You got a great deal. I was considering a CTT but with the CS optioned like the CTT I went for the CS.

Congrats. Looking good! I didn't realize how much I needed Adaptive Cruise, Burmeister, and a heated steering wheel in my life until my CTTS.

Nicely done, congrats. I too just brought home a P!G turbo. '12 w/most options including ACC, PCCB & Burmester but no PTV, PDCC or pano roof. One owner car with 54k on the clock. Paid $44k for it and felt like I'd done pretty well. Of course, after $800 to ship it from FL, Nevada sales tax and registration based on $138k MSRP, coupled to a magical depreciation formula known only to our DMV... Well, it cost me nearly $50k to make it legit. Don't care. Love the ride. And, the Burmester is absolutely the finest stock audio system I've ever had. Wish it had a little more adjustability but, I've never heard Pandora stream better than it does in this system.

Congrats on your new ride and, if you're ever in Vegas...

Cheers!
