The biggest burn in doing this conversion is paying the $400 or whatever for each of the two decklid ducts

JBO PS I know this has been discussed a ton but I figured there are lots of new owners considering this mod and there may be better options today than what was available 3-5 years ago.
Because I wanted cup car look, and I had friends who were selling off all their 997 cup spares when they stepped up to the 991 cup.

I also checked fitment on the cup deck lid very closely before committing to it. I had to replace the lower window trim panel as the cup part didn't meet my quality and fitment level.

Cup uprights because I wanted the wing in the higher air flow as well as not blocking the rear view mirror. But RS rear wing blade as I wanted the higher quality part and the anhedral design which was better for reducing drag.

Yes

Here is what the 997.2 Cup deck lid looks like. You will see it has every provision the street car does, from fan mounting provision, lock mechanism, even the light.

Lol, that is the one that went on my car. I can tell you I have regularly seen 997.2 cup deck lids for sale for $2500-3000

That's my instagram, haha.
Yes my car is a .1 with a full .2 conversion. My RS wing is a motorsport part of the german company "Albert Motorsport". Added the orginal 3. Brake light, the harness and the RS air filter.

997.1 C2S with GT3 front bumper cover and MA Shaw aftermarket rear wing. Was to be my track car until wifey appropriated it. Air intakes in front are also green. Did all but paint myself.
