Default Caliper Porsche Logo

Hi Guys, I'm thinking of sandblasting and painting my calipers, the Porsche lettering will need to be redone?

Any ideas? do they need to be stencilled on or can i find stickers?

I doubt you'll find the exact size decal or stencils. I say that with a certain level of confidence because I undertook a similar project some years ago:

Go stencil for the OEM look. You won't find them on their website, but Rennline carries them.

Andreas is correct, of course. I just measured Rennline's stencil, and while a very close match, it's approximately 3.25" wide. In comparison, the logos on my C2S calipers are about 3" wide.
Rennline stencil is a close match, but appears to be .25\" wider than the stock caliper logo

Thanks Jim. Yes, I purchased the Rennline stencil, as well as various decals from other suppliers. None were the correct size.

So I had a set of decals made - as discussed in my thread.

Decals/stencils should be 75mm x 5.5mm IIRC. 3” is pretty close. 3.25” is too big. I got mine from acromann. They make them overseas from high temp vinyl but any competent sign/printing shop should be able to make them.

Yup, your thread was the inspiration for this project last winter. Just a rattle can job with VHT Caliper Paint, nothing compared to your holy grail of powder coating and zinc plating I was just about to paint the decals...

... and significantly affects brake performance!

At 5 feet away, my calibrated eye screams inside my head and wants to pop out due to the extra 1/8" top and bottom of the sticker script!

See what I mean! ...and this is with the wheel off!

Imagine how much further it would be accentuated with a wheel on!

...are you guys serious?!!
