i was hoping i was the only one on instagram that saw that pic!
I think from the side it looks fine and if the standard finish is as light as other threads here suggest I would rather not be cleaning my wheels every day.

^^ nice build. very similar to mine. Ive gone black touring... and the red rim...and red stitching. Callipers are easy to paint. Just make sure painter uses correct paint and preps to handle the heat.

Now that we are seeing more GT3 touring pictures coming through I wonder how the poll of silver or black trim will change. I’m going with touring black trim and GT silver paint but the pics of the black car with the silver trim have really got me torn.

Is the chrome trim on the regular touring actual chrome or some fake painted plastic like Porsche does with their "aluminum trim" on all the newer cars?
I'm guessing it's the fake chrome and that's another reason why I went Touring black without giving it a second thought...
I love the chrome on the old 911's. Wasn't impressed with it on the Touring when I saw it at the Frankfurt IAA.

I wish it would just lock already and put me out of my indecisiveness

Haha! In the same boat. Actually just had a chat with my dealer and asked if I wanted to make a change would it be possible. I’m 50/50. Completely torn between the two.
On the one hand I think a GT3 being a high performance sports car suits the black trim better and GT silver will be easier to keep it looking better for longer. Also like that GT silver shows the lines and details of the bumpers and grills better. For me GT silver needs the black trim.
On the other hand the black with the silver trim looks so good especially with silver wheels. And kind of reminds me of a Singer which is really appealing as I love the retro look of a singer and the modern internals.
Black will be a sucker to keep clean. Are you going non metallic black or metalic?
With what wheels? I would do satin aluminum or standard silver. Just wondering what would match best.

Saphire blue with Touring black and standard silver wheels. I never liked entirely black wheels, there needs to be something bright to contrast with the rubber. This actually started with the Fuchs wheels when the centre got from anodised aluminium to anodised and then black painted. The part between the "star"and the wheels was always bright, and I love that.
All the Porsches in the family were with black trim since the 1972 2.4 litre ...
