Drive a GTS year round starting this year. Summer fun Boxster GTS. Cayenne GTS handles everything else. The past winters the workhorse was a Touareg TDI.

Winter vehicle for me is either my '15 GMC Sierra, or whatever vehicle my employer pays me to drive for winter vehicle testing.

GMC was leased as a "home improvement" tool to haul lumber, drywall, plants, mulch, etc. for updating the new house we bought. Lease is up in March and I'll likely replace it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee (V8). My wife's car is a '13 JCW Cooper S, so we still need something other than a Cayman to haul groceries and people. I also intend to purchase a trailer to get the Cayman to and from the race track and the Jeep's towing capacity should handle the car and a flatbed trailer just fine.

^Cayman in the winter in NJ eh? That's both awesome and a little scary. I know they're super balanced and winter tires rock, but ground clearance is ground clearance!

haha true! But even on X73, I think my F80 M3 was lower in the front when dropped on Eibach springs and that did just fine, too

Plus no one else is really on the roads when it snows so needless to say I had a ton of fun.

Transitioning from Scion Xb w/ snow tires to a VW MT 2017 Alltrack with pano sunroof. Def. need room for skis/snowboards for those VT trips this winter.

I think best for winter is the 2018 Porsche Panamera RWD. What do you think of this car? Planning to get it for a better deal.
