I moved to LEDs and love them, they are much brighter and I live in an area where I worry about deer and it’s awesome I’ll never go back. From a safety standpoint they are well worth the money.
There is another thread on the 991 board complaining that the brightness also creates a more distinct cutoff to the beam pattern so some don’t like it but I don’t agree...I’ve never even noticed it on mine.

Debating on Axle lift... I've been driving low cars all my life and my last turbo was slammed. I've heard that people don't use it much... Seems like something to fix down the line as well
Anyone who has ordered a real stripper is welcome too. I have to say with all the back and forth on options and colors etc. there is something to be said for a sub $150k car or even no options at all. I know a number of 997s were ordered that way. White, no options at all. : My original build was Black, LWBs, extinguisher, tank. Barely broke $150k. With the touring package and the chrome trim, the Silver on the backs of the 4 ways actually fits. Maybe a no options, but touring in black metallic. Tasty.

This car is going to look amazing in black... i'm forcing myself to get a different color this time.
My past 911's were loaded with options I never used, as they were mostly weekend cars. Now that bluetooth is standard these days I can answer the wife when I'm out tearing through the canyons. That's good enough for me.

I have no idea whether Carmine will turn out once or not... frustration in choosing a color got the better of me. All I knew are the colors I REALLY didn't like... Rhodium! Can live with the rest.
Mine is a stripper if you can call a car with $10k+ in options a stripper, LOL. To me it's a stripper because the high dollar options are limited to buckets, lift and wheel finish. Other than those I've got PDLS, metallic paint (GBM), light design pkg and several $0 options. Virtually nothing in interior appointments or luxury/cosmetic upgrades.

I was very close to going the Touring Package route, but at the end of the day I decided to go with the wing even though it will only see the track a couple times a year. I guess my inner 12 year old won out.
