Default Center Cap - 50th Anniversary Wheel measurements?

Hello folks,

Anyone know the size of the 50th Anniversary Wheel center caps? Trying to determine if it will fit a 991.2 turbo wheel.

Thanks,

John

I don't "know" because I've not measured but Porsche wheel center caps have been the same for many years. If you check the parts catalogue or Suncoast (or any source) you'll see center caps offered for sale without reference to year, model or type of wheel. that tells me they're all the same.

Thanks.

I had asked Suncoast and they specifically told me that they will not fit on a turbo wheel but I wasn't sure if that info was based on Porsche not listing it officially or if it was actually based on the dimensions.

Sounds like the person was referring to a Turbo S, centerlock wheel. You could confirm this by calling John at Wheel Enhancement in Los Angeles: (310) 836-8908. He's the most knowledgeable wheel man I know and has been in the business forever. Got my first set of Fuchs from them in 1983.

approx 3" wide, they will fit.

Or you can also think about going this direction...

Agree on the use of the word "turbo". It may have confused the conversation. The good news is this - The 50th Anniversary wheels are on sale at Suncoast. I've been watching the price for a while, and haven't seen them this low. I've also been lusting after them, so I bought a car with centerlocks. That'll teach me

thanks. I ordered the set and will return them if they don't fit. Suncoast got back to me saying that they originally said that it won't fit my turbo wheels because they thought that I had silver wheels and the caps are black.

Hi Sid,

Thanks for the picture. Looks to be the same size. Is the back around 60mm also?

John
