Shouldn't there be a discount minus the GT3 carbon wing?

Looks beautiful, almost as beautiful as with the wing. I really do not understand what the hoopla is about - it's just a very minor change to the rear lid look. It's not much, if at all, different from checkbox option on many other cars, including some other 911s (e.g., aerokit on Turbo). I slightly prefer the winged version to balance the aggressive front, but if a dealer told me I can only get this one, I would not really care either way. It's just shape of a rear spoiler.
Although some lines of reasoning are entertaining - I want a car without a wing to not attract any attention, but I also want an eye-searing PTS color and a side muffler delete. It's not that my current GT3 makes eyes and ears go into emergency shutdown mode, it's that wing that makes people notice.

Absolutely beautiful and another option to consider but at the end of the day, for me at least, I prefer a wing on a GT3

edit: the configurator might just have the wrong pic as it's showing alcantara seat inserts with the stripe instead of the cloth inserts. Anyone confirm if the cloth inserts have the stripe? If not, I would imagine the inserts would be a relatively cheap part (compared to $8k for exclusive) to get aftermarket.

There will be Gt3 touring package cars dressed up in 911R decals.
I like the look, package, but the 911R was not called a GT3Rs touring package. Soon Porsche will use the GT badging like BMW uses "M" on everything.
I feel they needed the back seats and depart from GT3 and call it something else.

The could have just left the GTS as an N/A model, dropped in the 4.0 slightly detuned to 450-465 HP, and been done with it. But either way, good that they did it one way or the other.

Which begs the question...why did they do this? Don't get me wrong...this (and the 911R) is the 911 I have been wishing Porsche would build since the water-cooled era began. But if they are not planning to fulfill GT3 demand, increasing demand by widening appeal just makes this another marketing exercise (like the 911R).

This car is definitely a poor decision on Porsche's part. I had no idea they will stoop so low! This is all VW's influence. I guess it's one of the reasons not all cleaning ladies would confirm such a car : they didn't think Porsche will forget absolutely everything regarding their history(no,the touring pkg of the 964 era was not the same thing!).
However,I have nothing bad to say about the car. It will be great,I'm sure! It has to be since it's following the GT3 " recipe ". Personally,I would get the regular GT3 with a manual over this, but that's just me. I think that those who are getting this car will be very happy.
I also could care less what this car does to R values! I have never been an " R hater ",I've always loved that car! I am also not a " hater " of the GT3 Touring. I love it! But I have no doubt it is diluting the GT3 brand. This car should be part of the regular 911 lineup with unlimited allocations.
Now there's no question in my mind Macan GT3,Panamera GT3 RS and Cayenne GT3 are coming!
As a matter of fact,I'll call my dealer tomorrow to see if he'll take a 911 991.2 GT3 RS CARS AND COFFEE EDITION deposit.

Not a fan of graphite blue on the Gt3 with wing, but I think the color fits the Gt3 without wing.
And I feel weird having to say Gt3 with and without wing. Does GT3 imply "standard" version with wing?
