Default Sometimes PAG Factory Design Really Irritates Me

Every time I have to remove the front or rear bumper covers, I struggle with the top self tapping cover screw above either the front and rear tires. Why couldn't the factory install the self tapping receiver clamp the proper way. Every screw tightens with a clockwise turn except the top screws.
Does not sound like a big deal I know, but since I take them off maybe once every year I forget and struggle trying to tighten them because I am turning the wrong way and fumbling to properly seat them. The front and back covers have about 40 screws, 36 of which turn one way and 4 the other. Frustrates me that I don't remember that little factory nugget.

Really? You have screws that are "righty-loosey"?

Yes, on both my GT3 and my C2. It appears the squeeze clamps are installed upside down. Ugh!

That's strange. I have been going through some exhaust swaps and removed the rear bumper 3 times in the last 4 weeks. All of mine are the same direction. I even commented to the wife about how Porsche made it so intuitive to remove and reassemble all of the parts.

I removed both bumpers to install parking cameras and don't remember any left hand screws. I don't think putting in the clips upside down will make any difference.

OK, no disrespect, but that should not matter (like putting a nut on a bolt: you can flip it either way and it still goes on). Maybe you got some reverse-thread screws installed? (but that sounds unlikely, too)

Maybe leave it off?

Just add some tail lights:

I have the FVD Sport Mufflers on the way. This is going to be the last attempt since it's turning into a hassle. If they don't work out then I will go back to stock and play some F1 sounds through the phone.
