Default Houston - Harvey

I hope all the RL'ers in Houston are high and dry, safe and sound.

I know there are a lot of 997GT owners in the area.

My family and I are fortunate to live in a high part of town.

City is an absolute mess, but thing are returning to normal in some parts of town

Stay safe

while the cars clearly aren't as important as the people impacted by Harvey, i have been wondering if Porsche of North Houston is on high ground...

Thanks Ilko. Been an awful storm for so many. The worst part about the national coverage is that it has been accurate

I haven't gone in since they moved to the new location next to their Lambo dealership but I did drive by when it was under construction - it's pretty tall but couldn't tell if the upper levels had showroom space or not. If so, hopefully they were able to use it to protect some cars.

I45 closer to where the old dealership used to be was (and still is) pretty bad, especially at Cypresswood.

I just saw this thread and thought that I would answer the questions..

We didn't suffer any major damage here, just a few roof leaks to test the new facility.

We managed to fit everything in our shop, showroom and the showroom upstairs where we keep the goodies.

Thanks for the concern everyone and I hope everyone else faired as well..

i'm guessing the "goodie" floor must be the first pic with that unicorn white 4.0, the GT2RS and other "goodies"

Thanks guys, yes the "goodies" (poor choice of words, might be a Texas thing) are in the first pic and there
are several of our other GT cars downstairs and in the shop with the 918.

I got my car at Porsche North Houston, nicest people I've ever met 👍
I too was concerned and didn't know they now have a new location

Glad to hear things are ok over there and hope they're ok in their personal homes too. And the RL members too, this storm was horrific. Very sad to see, and it will be quite some time before things get back to normal
