16' GT3 RS Pricing...
I Just bought a 10' 997.2 GT3 and love it! However, I am really feeling like I NEED the newer RS in my life . This week I have seen 3 2016's priced at $209K. A year ago it seemed like you could not touch these for under $250K. So how much lower do you think they will dip between now and the first of the year? I have some toys to unload to make this happen a 73' RSR Tribute and the 997.2 GT3.
I have the BUG, there is no getting rid of this one! LOL

Nobody can tell you that. We would all just be guessing. But if you have the BUG, do what you need to do! Remember, it is only money and life is short.

More like $295k a year ago. At least that's what they wanted for a "used" 500 mile UV at PC...Over $300k ask was not uncommon just a year ago. Damn you 991.2 GT3 with a man tran, damn you...

I'm with you. I'm hoping to get my number called by spring for a 991.2 GT3 allocation, but if a .1 RS comes available for under $200k by then, I'd probably go for that instead and be happy.

You could roll the dice and wait for the .2RS details later this year / early next year. That could have a big impact on prices, up or down, depending on the specs.
Either way I doubt they will get significantly cheaper than $200k in the next couple of years. So if you really have the BUG then I would bite if you find a reasonable deal and the car you want.

I went online yesterday and there are quite a few 2016 RS for sale and prices are down big time. With the summer over in 2 months these prices will be down even further. Yes- Dealers that paid over hoping to capture even more than they paid have lost out.
MSRP for 5000 and less mileage will be the right price. Come next year- should be even less
I still have no interest in an RS with PDK

Always love these debates:
- If you have an RS; "prices won't come down much..."
- If you don't, "how low are prices going to come down... when will they hit MSRP?"
Point being, find a car you like - get the numbers to workout favorably for buyer and seller - buy it - drive it/enjoy it to what you are seeking from it.

And for some reason UV cars seem to be priced lower....

Issue is that 99% of the people buying an RS, seem to buy them only for the potential of appreciation and not for it's track ability.
Only a handful or two of people on RL seem to truly drive the RS as it was intended..
