Default Help identifying this harness

I'm installing a DAS roll bar, and discovered what appears to be an unplugged harness on the passenger side (right) behind the interior rear quarter panel. Can someone please tell me what this harness is for, and why it appears to have been bypassed? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Andreas - that's precisely what it is. The 993 has nothing similar. My guru mechanic, Bill P. at Eurotech, also confirms: "that connector is part of the main harness for the car, which are made all the same for any optioned car, in this case that empty plug would be for connection to a cabrio roof (power,grounds,sensors,switches,etc.).... you car being a non cabrio and thus no "sub harness" to connect to it."
