That is a SEXY picture. Your clear coat and or wax looks good. Guards is usually too bright of a red for me, but this is nice man.

Just bought it, so I'll have to get some interior shots.

The car was made in July 1973. Has quite a few unique anomalies that did not typically come on a G body that was made for California.

Euro Tube Front Bumpers (these were not an option for Cal cars)

Aluminum Deck Lid Grill

3 different style gauges installed by the factory, from long hood '73's, the G bodies, and the speedo that did not come standard from either.

Two sets of three holes were placed inside the trunk area by the factory to allow installation of fastening clamps for optional competition fuel tanks (85-100 liters). Standard was 80 liters. This was only an option from 1970-1973 so at least some of the body panels, like a lot of the parts listed, must have been taken from a long hood parts bin.

It was optioned by the owner with M404 Stabilizer bars, front and rear, rectangular fog lights, 5 speed, oil pressure gauge and the 3 spoke sport steering wheel and sunroof delete. The dealer then installed for the first owner:

M412 Oil Cooler
M474 Bilstein Dampers
M414 Oil Level Gauge
...and Passenger Mirror

The first owner also replaced the leatherette with the same color leather, which was also installed by the dealer upon delivery and matches the original color.

The car sometime in it's life was left for dead in Ojai for 15 years before the owner previous to me restored it. It's got all of the usual refinements for 2.7's. Head studs, chain tensioners, Carrera oil cooler, 930 tie rods, Carrera brakes, Clubsport motor mounts, SSi's, Dansk 2 to 1 muffler and he installed a period correct limited slip diff.

The car has been verified through the PCA as being the first special order color G body in the US and the oldest documented G body on the road today. It was selected as a time line example for Rennsport IV in 2011.
