^^^ I don't know. The GT3 is pretty compelling. The poor man's R in Touring form looks more appealing by the day as the loose lips of cleaning ladies provide more info.

I don't think it will hold the same magic as the Spyder due to their vastly different natures, but there's no denying the GT3 will offer up its own special brand of enjoyment -- in spades! Tough call.

I considered the GT3 briefly initially, but once financial reality set in the decision was made for me by the accountant (and my daughter's future graduate school tuition office!). I'm almost glad to be relieved of having to make the call. Can definitely understand the allure and hope the GT3 is everything it seems to be, particularly for those moving cherished pieces like the Spyder in order to make the switch.

My Dad always said it's better to make an error of commission rather than omission and I think that applies here. To pass on the GT3 if you can swing it is to perhaps miss out on one very, very special opportunity with the prolonged gnashing of teeth a likely byproduct. And, if you can't swing it and end up "stuck" with a car like the Spyder, well, there could be far worse fates!

Spyder + GT3 = ultimate combo IMO. Insanely jealous of those of you who will have both in the stable.

Good idea, I had run an errand and totally forgotten them there.. batteries for tv remote control. I'm loving all the spyder-pertinent questions (just kidding.. sarcasm button pressed)

Congratulations; that didn't long. Something tells me you are gonna miss it, even after you get the GT3. But, you will be in a better position to compare both the cars, for the spirited street driving and give us an objective and subjective views.

By the way, what is the bracket you used for the phone holder (Pro Clip)? Is that a custom piece? Thanks.

It's an end of an era !
Nice work with the sale Calexio, someone has bagged a cool Spyder.

Thanks for sharing your Spyder journey, hope the GT3 is just as much fun.

It will be a great car for sure, but I'm sure you'll miss those open air blasts up those hills :-)

Proclip yes, but not custom.. it's just the attachment piece they make for the 981.

Thank you.. it IS tough, but I'm hoping a manual GT3 heals the pain ..

Yes, the roof down experience of this car will be tough to replicate.

I get one last drive down the California coast next week to pebble beach next week to deliver it to the new owner.

haha.. i'm not exactly sure what unicorning means.. but if it's that I get a 1 of 1 PTS.. then I'll toast to that hope as well.

I'll get a little quieter around here for awhile.. will feel like a bit of an impostor until she arrives.
