Seriously what is the Maximum amount of horsepower can you get with a stock kkk 26/6 with all the right bolt ons and chips, but no MAF. Is 380 HP about its max?
Depends from the dyno - on Mustang dyno you could get 250 WHP. I have 951 with standalone, 3 inch exhaust and DP, Tial WG and electronic boost controller (allows for very precise boost modulation together with standalone) and 630cc injectors. With slightly modified k26/6 (both cold and hot side) it had around 260 WHP at 5200 rpm with 1.1 bar and 1,15 bar overboost at around 5000 rpm on tank fuel. It was tuned by one of the best tuners in region for 3 hours and he said that that is about maximum what you can get with tank fuel and good safety margin when going to the track and everything heats up. From that rpm range even my slightly modified turbo became inefficient and the boost is dropped to 0.9 bar by the redline as it did not matter whether you have 0.9 or 1.15 bar - the WHP remained around the same number due to big backpressure (which is generally not good for the engine). The benefits of such a small turbo are that you have full boost at 3000 rpm in lower gears and at 2600 rpm in fifth gear and the lag is minimal from around 3000 rpm. We can only estimate what the crank HPs are – based on the results of other unmodified cars WHP on that dyno (320 hp M3 E36 with good motor dynoed 240 WHP), it might be somewhere in the 340 crank HP range.

That's funny and sad all at the same time. Not sure to laugh or cry. Maybe a bit of both at the same time. It's as if Paulyy is lying or just ignored, when he isn't lying and should be given the respect he earned.

I just saw the 380hp figure.. We all should have just said yes, doable. Let him do the work and dyno at 280hp. He'd come back and complain ect and we can then say "should have done your research then hey"
To be fair, a chip and some bolt ons are totally good for up to 500+ hp. Oddly, if the car senses a dyno, it will detune to 240 before taking a good reading. So the short answer is yes, you will get 380 all day, provided you do not dyno it under any circumstances.
26#6 has a breathing problem for higher horsepower applications, but you can get arround this by fitting pre turbo electric fan, it's a well kept secreet..
This will provide air to K26 so it can make al the way to 400hp. But you will also need exhaust to get to 400.

Easy, just get another one of those fans and put it on the exhaust
