Anyone here think the GT3 is NOT sexy?
Just passing time while waiting for my promised GT3 allocation. Rather than start another thread involving the drama of delays, allocations, market adjustments, etc, I thought I'd stir up another hornet's nest. Not troll, just stir up. LOL. You can skip to my last paragraph if you want. This thread won't change any of our minds, since we are all Porschephiles. I was just wondering if anyone shares my opinion.
I do not think the Porsche GT3 is sexy. It is an old silhouette, which to some is a plus, but it looks like the VW Beetle's brother on steroids to me. Just look at my avatar! No amount of gussying it up with carbon fiber this and deviated stitching that will change its non-sexy look. I can think of a lot of sexier cars. Any of the McLaren sports cars is sexier. Heck, even the Corvette Z06 is meaner looking and sexier in my opinion, so long as you forget it is an ...ah....Chevy .
BUT, it is a Porsche, a Porsche built for the track, and sexy or not, I want it, doggone it!!

Ferraris are sexier. I wouldn't call Mclarens sexy, until the 720 came out.
Porsches, particularly GT3s have definite sex appeal, not Ferrari level sex appeal, but far more than an M3, Mustang, GT-R, or corvette.
Comparing a GT3 to a Ferrari us like comparing the hot neighbor girl to a fashion model. Both are hot, the model more so on the surface. Both are exciting when driven correctly, but only one of them has substance and will be around in thick and thin, while the other gets their nails done and falls apart if stressed too much.

Personally, I don't think the base GT3 is a particularly beautiful car either, though I do think it looks a little better in person than in pictures. I much prefer the look of some well styled standard 991's or the GT3RS, but the GT3 isn't about looks to me.

LOL.
Both are great cars in their own right.
But the GT3 looks like a very sporty Porsche that looks equally aesthetically at home when parked at a nice restaurant, driving mountain twisties, or driving on a track, while the RS looks like a fantastic Porsche track machine........that looks out of place everywhere besides a track.
Purely subjective. That's why it's great that Porsche makes both variants for everyone's tastes.

I do not though find the 911 sexy but do find the GT4 more on the sexier-side. GT3 is handsome with an ego- not a bad thing
Ferrari is a super-model
