Default Let's discuss nipples

I'm specing-out the .2 GT3 and wondering about the "headlight cleaning system covers" - I really wish they were not there.

There are total of 4 different headlights to choose from:

1. Standard Bi-Xenon
2. Bi-Xenon PDLS
3. LED PDLS
4. Blacked-out LED PDLS

As you will see in the photos below the nipples comes in chorme and black plastic, I have also seen painted black nipples (not requested by owner); they are very random.

Does anyone know the standard nipples color on the .2 GT3? Are they headlights specific?

I thought those were going away...as in US cars would no longer have the headlight washers.

In US standard is Black plastic regardless of which lights you get. $300 option to get them painted body color.

What a ridiculous feature. Who needs these? I don't even use the wiper blades (my fun cars don't see rain), and virtually never clean the windshield unless it's by hand when cleaning the car. What a senseless thing to add, compromising appearance and only adding (negligible) weight for no real value add.

Longstanding European regulations. I prefer them in black because I think the more black contrast the better.

Wow- this is just a very anti-nipple crowd with the exception of Alex who simply prefers them in black. Have you all considered this solution? And yes, fear not Alex, they are black. Post a photo once you have them pasted on your GT3

It's not just the nipples which I prefer black, it's also the rear ends, especially on a widebody... 911. Of course I can't post pics of these because I'll get banned again, but you get the pictures.

At least in EU with certain LED/Xenon strength they are mandatory. Some manufacturers go cheap (or full cheap) and offer crap headlights both Xenon or LED that are so dim that regulations don't require the washers. Otherwise they are mandatory. You don't want to blaze opposite traffic in bad wx.

Good question, anyone?
