FWIW, the aftermarket wires tend to depend on "resistor wire", vs the factory "resistor ends" with non-resistor wires. The resistance in the system functionally regulates the firing voltage. and having the resistance relatively constant among all the wire assemblies is important. Different lengths of resistance wire used in the cheaper wire sets makes that impossible. My vote goes to installing a set of the correct wires.
