I don't think one is the winner over the other - each has its pro's and cons both are nice and well made, good shops providing. GMG has one as well and my personal favorite is the CMS version. If you look at the link below there are details and if you go to page 5 you will see they offer a NASA legal version as well.
When looking at them you should be looking at the following:
1. Seat travel - does it suffer from the design and the cross member behind the seat.
2. Cutting of carpet and trim pieces - what is needed for it to work
3. Rear facing visibility - how does the design impact your visibility out the back of the car
4. Price and shipping costs.
They are all well made, will give you pretty much any color - so you just have to decide how you will use it and which options best suits your needs.
Love my BBi bar. Well-made and correct harness bar height for proper shoulder harness attachment angle. As per Schroth, this is critical for safety. The only downside of the BBi bar, at least when I had mine installed last year, was an absolutely pathetic template for making the cuts in the carpet and plastic trim. My shop had to create their own.
Have you considered just a harness attachment rather than a bar? I have this in my car and love it: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/949794-brey-krause-r-1046-harness-mount-truss-2.html
That is what I have in my car. Functional and gets the job done. Any roll over protection - unless welded to chassis - anything else is just a jewelry piece don't you think?

The only bolt in design that I believe will work to provide roll over protection is one that interfaces to the upper frame of the chassis reinforcement that run across the front of the engine.
The BBi and Cantrell bar are very similar. The BBI has an X-Brace connecting to the shock towers and the Cantrall uses a diagonal. Cantrell provides templates that work. Look at this thread https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/9346...r-install.html

Another good option is DAS Sport. The owner of DAS Sport designed this on his personal GT4. We installed one a few weeks ago and our customer is very happy with it.
