Default Public shout out/thanks to a couple of DFW guys...

..and a reminder as to why this is such a great group of people!

Thanks to Darien (Darien Nunn) , John Curry (Soon2bered84) and John Hamilton for there help in getting my paws on this the last few days.

Darien got caught up with a last minute meeting at work and wasnt able to get me form the airport (after the rental car company botched my reservation). He called John, whom i have never met, and he came to the airport to get me and drove me to the dealership and then back up to Dariens house. Above an beyond guys! thankyou.

Very much appreciated. If the rest of the DFW crew is anything like these 2 guys in DFW (which i am certain it is) you have a great thing going! It was a short trip but i really need to get back there for one of your gatherings!

2017 Jaguar F-Pace S.
380hp SC V6.
had a 1000 miles on it when purchased. It was a dealer demo and Sales Managers car. The mileage also qualified me for the Jag CPO program that now takes the factory 5yr 60k warrenty out to 6yrs and 100k miles! Got a great deal on it.

NOW....Dont laugh at the blue painters tape!! It is road tested to just about 140 and when i pulled into the garage last night my son and i peeled it it off effortlessly to reveal a flawless bug/chip free front fascia !

1200 miles...69mph avg speed (took a detour in Albuquerque to go see Walter Whites house/car wash )....24.8 avg MPG.

WeatherTech mats on the way and shopping around for clear bra today.

Great car, but... wouldn't you rather have a Cayenne??? (just kidding).

Sounds like good Texas hospitality.

Tony,
It was great to finally meet you in person. I've seen you post on this forum for a bunch of years, and listened to Darien speak highly of you as well. It's always nice to put a face with a name.

I'm was happy to help out and glad you made it back safe and sound.

Our breakfasts are held the first Saturday of every month (even the month of November during the Third Coast Event for the folks that couldn't make it to Third Coast). See you soon!
