as far as caster exceeding factory--this was not done intentionally, but as a consequence of using shims only and not thrust arm bushings or camber plates (which my GT4 is having installed )

I will have dealer recheck alignment numbers then the next step will be camber plates I guess
Maybe ,I will do one event on Cup tires before changing, to see if the extra width of the R7's have anything to do with it

Call Stable Energies in Garfield NJ and they'll hook you up.
I would try the castor pucks 1st.
The 991 GT3 already has a good adjustable strut mount. In fact. Just set both strut tops completely inboard and you're perfect for alignment.
Again, (-)2.7 or 2.8 works real well upfront with no rubbing at all.

to revive this month old thread...
I am back at the Glen next week....trying Trofeo R's instead of the R7's
dealer wants to back off the camber front and back because of the excessive INNER shoulder tire wear (or is it just normal after 250 laps???)
maybe my inflation pressures cold were too low, and aggressive cornering when the pressures were 26-28 caused this unusual wear?
again, most guys on here are running at least -2.5F when adjusting for track .WGI times are 2:05 consistently so not putzing around?
Maybe I should just try one more event at higher cold pressures (then hot pit and bleed to 32 F & R) with the same alignment on the different tires and see what comes of it rather than back of negative camber and get OUTSIDE shoulder wear (say at -2.1F and -2.0R)

I guess that should be the next step, but again , I don't think the front caster is causing the inside wear.
i will back off the camber F and R and see what happens after the event this week

I was having the same problem. I was shredding the inside shoulders on the front. I took some camber off went from -3.0 to -2.8. Also I was too low on tire pressures staring cold below 30 on R7s and shooting for 38 hot. So now I'm starting off around 34 and shoot for 40 hot. Sometimes I have to cut the 1st session short and come in and bleed them down.
