On the Tequipment pages I came across something listed as "Heat protection panels for rear bicycle carrier" part# MSU 003 236 (which also seems to be part# 955 044 000 86.
Has anyone ever seen/used these?
I plan on hauling three bikes using a Kuat Transfer 3 bike rack. It'll be a multi-day trip with a lot of highway and country road miles.
I've twice now given my shins a little toasting from the tailpipes on my '17 GTS. I'd prefer not to discover the rack carriers and bike tires got cooked after a long drive.
What do these panels look like and how do they attach?
