Default National Corvette Museum and Charlotte Motor Speedway

I typically track at Road Atlanta, Atlanta Motorsports Park, Barber in Birmingham, AL and Roebling Road in Savannah.

Now that I have a trailer, I'm stretching out into a couple of other tracks a little further away from home.

First up is an event with 10/10ths at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Anyone been there? I don't see it listed on the fastest lap times thread. It should be fun!

Then there is a rare opportunity to track in the new infield course at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This event happens from 1pm until 10pm, which means some of it will be in the dark and under the lights. This should be epic, especially if part of the NASCAR oval will be used, which I'm trying to confirm.

Anyway, just letting the group know in case anyone else wants to check these out too.

See ya on the track!

NCM rocks. It's my home track now... it can seem overwhelming initially- 3.2 miles and 23 corners, but it flows beautifully. I didn't bother with any data this lap, it was the only session I drove my dads GT4 at NCM. This is a HOT 95 degree day on 235/285 NT01's. I was running 2:19's against a stopwatch. Also- 10/10ths is a great club, I instruct with them--You won't be disappointed.

Very cool... nice video! That track really rolls towards the end. Around 2min mark on your first lap till the finish line looks crazy fun.

Glad to see the good words about 10/10ths too... seems consistent from other guys I've talked to.

If the new layout at Charlotte is similar you get to run about 2/3rds of the oval. I did a PCA DE there about 15 years ago and it was awesome. The loads on the oval are high so make sure your car is set up appropriately, don't want to lose a tire at those speeds.

No, or at least not lately. I got a new 718 Cayman and might do a few DE's here in Texas. Been a busy few years with a new business and a move.

Whoa! Are you sure they were NT01? Never heard of them in that sizing. This would be a revelation!
