How durable is this piece? Have you tested it on a race track? I'm 6'4" and could really use this on my 996 however I'm really concerned about how this would hold up during DE days or autox
I currently have an aftermarket hub and wheel installed that brings the front of the steering wheel rim out exactly 8 inches from the steering column hub.
Can you tell me what the total distance from the FRONT of the steering wheel rim to the FRONT of the steering column hub is for this spacer on that Macan wheel (assume it's the same as a 997 Sport Wheel)?
This is not my picture but essentially this measurement:
I would you have to fit a GM steering wheel does this guy have a website I bought a aftermarket steering column for my 1953 chevy belair and my original steering wheel hits my ****ter arm and I want to be able to put the horn button on my steering wheel too is that possible
I've made another batch of the 993 996 986 steering wheel spacer.
I improved them a little bit:
- the aluminium is ALL matt black anodized
- the rib is not glued on but machined in the aluminium
- the extra 2" wire to connect the horn is included in the supply now.
- I've made detailed fitting instructions in English that I'll put in the box.
The 997 991 spacers are under machining and will be ready in the incoming days.
