Because i scould have done it,but there was no noice when i parked it.
So it's a 6000$ i told you so
My buddies already pinched me in the side so no hard delinga.
The plan was to build a new engine, but not so soon.

about a year ago I was looking at a very good condition 951 to purchase.
This was a high mileage (250,000 kms) but absolutely well taken care of. The owner wanted way more money than I could consider paying.
In conversation, when I asked about rod bearings he said his Porsche trained mechanic (the only mechanic the seller has ever brought his car to since he bought the car NEW) assured him "the engines are good to 400,000 kms before you replace bearings".
This was a high mileage (250,000 kms) but absolutely well taken care of. The owner wanted way more money than I could consider paying.

for a mildly street driven car with regular changes of good (proper weight) oil i could believe that.
ive driven original-everything 300k+ mile 944s and they felt and sounded the same as a 70k example.

35000 km With 350 BHP
And With a lot of trackday driving.
Ill just take it AS a leason in life.
