Does anyone have close up pictures of the satin wheel vs the standard polished wheel.

Pretty sure the wheels in question are Satin Aluminum that were on the 911R, as shown below. It's a great look, especially on a white car.

The 991.2 GT3 looks better in the metal -- the nose looks great.

Is that Guards or Carmine? I assume Guards since all the press release cars were Guards. My God red looks amazing on this version.

Looks like carmine but could be guards depending on lighting and white balance. Irrespective, carmine and red does look stunning on 991.2 gt3. I want.

On miami blue example, not diggin the all black side mirrors but I like the black door handles. Goes well with the black accents on wing. EU license plate holder makes it look like extra grills in the rear for additional heat venting.

Would also like to see this.....Alex???? I'm leaning towards the optional Satin aluminum wheels (assuming I get an allocation) over the standard silver wheels. Is it worth the upgrade and are they visually similar?

I opted for satin aluminum on my guards red order. They are a bit whiter looking than the standard wheels and I thought they would contrast nicely.

You mention they're a bit whiter, have you seen both versions side by side? Thank you for your opinion.

Very hard to give a definitive opinion for someone else as to what is worth it, but on the 911R the satin wheels make the wheel really stand out more, almost seem bigger or more dished. It looks like the regular wheel with a matt finish, which brings out all the angles and shadows of the wheel, gives it a 3-Dimensionality which Looks really good. so, to me, yes, they are truly worth it over the standard wheel. I can't say how to compare them to platinum or satin black as those are different colors entirely, but I would pick these over the standard silver wheels for sure.

(Assuming I'm the "Alex" who was being asked.. didn't mean to jump in otherwise)

I can vouch for PECLA, but I was struggling with the color. Looked deep red for Guards Red but the photo color you see above is accurate -- the lighting probably hid the orange.

Here's another view (now seeing the orange on the wing):
