Doesn't look like that RSR was bubble wrapped! Glad to see that.

Wish were were there this year like in the past. We'll be in Tremezzo a bit later this summer for a few weeks.

Off topic, but how is Lago di Garda? Thinking about spending some time there as well.

Quite different, you should definitely make a trip and see both, in fact add Lugano lake, Lucerne and Geneva also. To try to answer your question, Garda is more about nature, with great wind for surfing and flowing water. Lago di Como is very calm, and poetically beautiful homes nestled in the hills. Spent yesterday on the boat after leaving the show and despite having spent all my childhood summers here, it still struck me as just being epically beautiful.

Took a bunch of SLR shots yesterday but all had family members in the them so not appropriate for posting on a forum, but here are a few crappy iPhone pics I have of just scenery which I can share.. I almost forget how breathtaking this place is sometimes and then I come home and I'm in awe like its the first time.

One great thing about meeting fellow gearheads is... we're all fellow gearheads. It's just instant banter and connection. A real pleasure to chat with Footsoldier and Dante today. see you both at Pebble Beach this summer. enjoy a healthy and prosperous 2017...

We have been spending a few weeks each summer in Como but have also spent considerable time in Lucerne, Lugano and Zurich. Kind of limited this year with a newborn. How is Maggiore? A friend of a friend owns a beautiful hotel there (also a big car guy!). Maybe we'll go for a few nights.
