Default Air Cooled Snob Joining the Ranks

Hello all, picking up a GT4 on Monday and could not be more excited! Fell in love with the car after seeing a ton of them at Hershey 2 years ago. Pics will follow, but basics are Silver with Black/Yellow, Ceramics, but no LWBS.

The GT4 is the only new car (that I can afford) that has brought me to the dealership. Can't wait to get it on the track.

I think you'll love it. It needs revs, but the sound and power delivery are worth it.

I'd like to be an air-cooled guy too, but my wife would want me murdered. One day, maybe, but with the prices heading where they are, I'm happy to have what I have.

Welcome and congrats. Very different experiences, and really nice to be able to go back and forth between the two...

I missed LWBs also. There is some good info on seats if you search. I hopefully will be replacing my 2-ways with COBRA Imola's after I get the car back from the shop (thanks to rainy day track event). GMG and BBI make slider mounts that seem to be popular. The shop I went to uses a Planted base and separate sliders and mounts for the seats I would get.

Well, what can I say, holy crap, this is the most beautiful thing I have ever purchased. Feels amazing and light and I love the stock set up.

Visually it is a 10 in my eyes and a great into to the modern Porsche world. Gears are taaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllll, don't even know if I have been in third yet and I think that another 60HP would put the driving experience at the perfect level.

Can't tell 100% but it feels tossable and I can't wait to have it at NJMP and Summit Point.
