I am all about the aircooled hype, love my 1990 964 coupe. But almost a million $ is pretty chunk of change.

Uh you can just commission a Singer to your liking for half that. Personally love Singer's but I don't think I personally would have chosen that combination of um colors.

While I generally love Singers, I can see why they are trying to sell THAT one...
Probably one of those "well it seemed like a good idea at the time".

hard to sell your dream build to someone else at a profit.... Id pay 15% below sticker for it.

I could live with the color no problem, but id have to change the whee color and side stripe to suit my taste.

I'm willing to bet an American bought it. There are no Singers on the second hand market and the wait list for a new one is 1-2 years isn't it?

I think it was PFAFF's personal commissioned singer that was displayed at auto show. I get the whole wait time and all but a Million bucks is still a million bucks..OR maybe not anymore.

Just because the AT link is down doesn't mean the car has sold, lol...Also it could've been listed all along as a publicity stunt to sell other cars at Pfaff. Pffaf has been getting random viral online attention via Jalopnik a few weeks back and the ugliness of their Singer build is known globally too - perhaps they're just adding coal to the viral fire by listing it for sale for outrageous $ so everyone talks about it and them?
