I personally don't like the way those rams look, a little anemic.

The thinner the rams are the better the airflow. The better the airflow the less drag and more down force produced.

Looks vs performance, the eternal question.

I'm sure Jeff will answer, he put up a nice post here on Rennlist based on his eRam install experience. His big Misha wing looks great when extended up 4". Almost 2" further than the factory hydraulic rams can put the wing. We now have a 4 3/4" eRam kit. Man does that put the wing up high - just like the GT3 or GT4 wings. Here is a cool trick; you can mount a 997 turbo wing on the 996 Turbo and it looks fantastic from my point of view...

cool! I actually have a 997tt but figure its more or less the same. Thanks for the reply!
